You'll have to let me know how your peppers turn out. It was my understanding that you did not want to raise different pepper plants near each other or they cross pollinate. I could be wrong though, my green thumb is more black - as in black death that I spread to every plant I touch.

Wow man, ASU has bureaucracy all wrong. At ASU the bureaucracy drives a person insane and stupid rules and the inability to think outside of the paradigm of what those rules are becomes a stumbling block against efficiency and normal daily living. In England, the birthplace of bureaucratic madness, the inefficiency is so strong that people just don't get anything accomplished at all. I did not pay my fall tuition until two weeks before the end of the semester, because like you I was waiting on my financial aid to arrive but did not know that I had to fill out new forms since I'm studying abroad. The nice thing is that the bureaucratic machine is so slow in England that I was never dropped or had any repercussions. I just got reminder emails and a letter or two in the mail reminding me that I need to pay tuition. Even though the deadline for paying was in October, I did not even get a fine for paying late.

Also I wish more people understood the genius of The Hitchhikers Guide, and also Idiocracy. Two wonderful movies that pretty much sum up the human experience in the 21st century Western civilization.

David......Pete and I have a book on hummers! We still love them......something I guess you never outgrow. Did you know that hummingbird feathers are not colored in and of themselves? The color you see is the result of the sunlight reflecting/refracting off of their very unique feathers. Next time you see some, see if their color doesn't go away when they fly into the shade. Amazing, isn't it?
